I have a need for a Junior IT Support person to join a small team and be trained up in all technological areas of the business. The Role: You will be a first point of contact for the business users which range from store staff through to warehousing and head office corporate users. The role will incorporate more then phone support, you will be required to be part of configuring, implementing and general maintenance of existing and new systems. The Technologies: The role entails a broad range of technical requirements, the successful candidate will need to have exposure to most of the following technologies: MS Windows XP/2000/2003 NAV ERP MS SQL (including Scripting and reporting) Backups BI Support Cisco networking Applications Telephony Point of Sale (Eftpos, Scanners, systems Etc) The person: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 1 to 2 years experience in a similar technical role.
