Successful defence organisation specialising in telecommunications and networks Cutting-edge and world leading short range telecommunications and DSP projects Software engineer with strong C++ and a passion for Linux needed MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE CLEARANCE AND NEED TO HAVE AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP The client is a specialist defence organisation which provides Real Time software based solutions for mission critical telecommunications and networking systems. Focusing on both commercial and defence domains, the organisation is a specialist in the design, development and production of underwater acoustic sonar processing, recording and analysis systems for military vehicles, ships, and submarines. As a result, they are currently on the lookout for a Graduate or Junior level C++ Software Engineer to facilitate for the growth of this project. If you are a C++ software engineer with a passion for developing high quality Object Oriented code on Linux platforms, then this role is for you. Also this role will be suitable for software engineers with a DSP background. Required Skills: Tertiary qualifications in Computer, Software, Electrical, Telecommunications engineering or related disciplines MUST be eligible for Australian Defence Force Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship also required) Excellent and high achieving academic records Strong working knowledge with Windows and Linux platforms Strong skills in OO design Ability to program with C and C++ and other languages Excellent communication and documentation skills The successful C++ software developer will be joining an industry leading defence provider.
