(IT) Technical Support Engineer


Rate: $60k   Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia   

A fantastic opportunity has come up to provide phone and remote support for a variety of network platforms. Working in Richmond, you will be required to diagnose, test, isolate and resolve issues across platforms including fibre, SDH, ATM, DSL and IP. Adhering to fault management procedures, you will be responsible for monitoring the network, configuring new customer connections, controlling outages, and providing direction to onsite staff for technical issues. Required skills include: Excellent knowledge of IP Addressing, TCP/IP, SNMP, Ethernet Exposure to ATM and Gigabit Ethernet Great customer service skills Experience in a similar environment Relevant qualifications, such as a CCNA or CCNP, will be highly regarded.
