(IT) Senior Analayst Programmer


Rate: Above Market Rates   Location: Singapore   

Cobol, SMART, CL, SQL, IBM iSeries. Senior Analyst Programmer/Developer Our client, a leading global consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company, is looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer/Developer to join their team. Responsibilities: 1. Programme and test unit code required for new software release, new system development, existing system enhancements, fixes, interfaces, technical upgrades and proof of concept exercise. 2. Develop and test unit code of data conversion programs/utilities 3. Produce working code from specifications 4. Investigate and solve programming problems 5. Conduct internal walk through of analysis or design documents or code 6. Support help desk 7. Prepare test data 8. Perform system documentation as required 9. Retro-fit/migrate existing code from one version of the system to another 10. Update and maintain program and other relevant product documentation Candidate Requirements: 1. At least 5 years of programming experience 2. Must have recent Insurance Experience 3. At least a University Degree 4. Sound knowledge of - SMART/400, - Cobol/400. 5. Basic understanding of the stages of the system development life cycle (SDLC)
