(IT) Helpdesk Support – Active Directory – CBD Investment Bank – Top$ (S26)

Rate: $30k-40k   Location: Melbourne Inner, Victoria

They are currently seeking a Helpdesk Support Engineer to define, deliver and support solutions for 140 users across several different business units including One Trading floors, Equities and Fixed Income (this will be fantastic experience to gain if you haven’t worked in this area before). The main function of this role will be Access Control The responsibilities for the roles will include: Access Control, (creating new accounts, adding new group policies, etc) Investigate hardware or software problems and performs minor system hardware and communication connection repairs. Undertake projects as and when required Support market data and Exchange data links IT Consultancy on peripherals and new technology Understanding the business processes and priorities Identification and follow through on opportunities for cost reductions through efficiencies and better management of IT resources To be considered for the role you will need: Thorough knowledge of Desktop, LAN, Peripheral device installation and support (ideally including Blackberry) Advanced, solid knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (XP, Office 2003, Active Directory, Exchange) The ability to work as part of a team player The ability to liaise with business as well as technical personnel to produce solutions acceptable to all parties The ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written/verbal A high customer service focus and professional approach This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work with cutting edge technology so don’t delay, apply online now or call Lucas Laxale on (02) 8243 6868 quoting reference (S26149) for a confidential discussion.
