This Industry leader on the heart of the Gold Coast, Queensland is looking for an Information Architect to take a leadership role in setting data and information strategic direction.You will work closely with the business and the software development group to solve business problems. This may be by finding a better way to utilise the existing systems and technologies, or may involve bringing in new technology. The role encompasses predominantly data and software related problems.DUTIES . Design enterprise scale IT architecture. Responsible for ensuring that the IT systems reflect and support the overall business model, having the required attributes of functionality/usability, performance, availability, security and potential for change. Apply information architecture concepts and understanding of information flows to improve solution design. Investigate and research products and services to improve business systems, including prototyping solutions and evaluating 3rd party vendor solutions and software. Responsible for information and data architecture design.Technical . Evaluate vendor products and equipment Evaluate and negotiate vendor offerings Develop technical requirements Develop detailed technical design Contribute to the development of a strategic plan Apply problem solving techniques to achieve organisational goals Undertake capacity planning Perform unit, integration and systems test System Design Data modelling .
