(IT) Snr Web Developer/Web Development Manager
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
This newly created role will keep the incumbent extremely busy, and holds key responsibility for the successful delivery of many business critical projects. These include a Website redesign, development of an online booking engine and development implementation of an Intranet and integration of a CMS. Key responsibilities: Oversee all technical aspects of Web applications including upgrades and maintenance of servers, hardware, software, telecommunication connections, e-mail, and security systems Investigation of system errors, perform backups, and ensure user accessibility and site performance Rapidly create solutions to business issues and make them production ready Management and reporting of Key Performance Indicators Development and implementation of SharePoint Portal Server Administration and configuration of SharePoint environment Technical input in the Web Business Team Implementation and on-going support of the business Web strategy Coordination, development/integration and administration of a (new) website, CMS, E-commerce facilities including a booking engine Administration and Integration of CRM systems Key requirements: A degree in computer science or information systems and/or related technical and internet/client server experience Strong experience in website/intranet management and development with a focus on Microsoft Technologies and practices Knowledge of .NET, ASP, ASP.NET, MS SQL, Oracle Strong (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Web Services experience Familiar with AJAX frameworks In-depth knowledge of W3C Web Standards and cross browser compatibility Be able to translate Freehand/Illustrator/Photoshop designs to deliver (X)HTML/CSS Websites Experience with Online Marketing, Online Shopping, Travel or other E-Commerce environments highly regarded Familiar with SEO best practices Experience working with external developers and designers Experience in creating efficient and logical databases, data warehousing and information management Please send your CV to: (see below) , or call Tenneille Fowler on 9250 8030 for further information.
