(IT) Junior Helpdesk/IT Support

Rate: Starting Salary $40k + Super!   Location: Fortitude Valley

Junior Helpdesk/IT Support We are seeking a junior Helpdesk/IT Support Officer looking to get away from the monotony and humdrum of constantly answering the phones and seeking more autonomy and an opportunity to learn further develop their desktop and infrastructure knowledge. Our client is based one the fringe of the Brisbane CBD and they are seeking someone who will be happy to work in a small team environment, has great interpersonal skills and is tech-savvy. Daily Task/Duties may include: Provide 1st level technical support to end users Log all queries Resolve (including management of escalation) issues according to SLA’s Complete all assigned tasks within service level agreement Installing PC’s Monitoring Servers Required Skills: Must have excellent customer service skills and strong technical knowledge Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills Excellent telephone and face to face manner Proven problem solving skills Must be motivated, committed and of high integrity A team player who is able to share knowledge and work with a team. Skills/Knowledge: 1 years+ experience in a Helpdesk or Technical Support Role Experience and knowledge with PC hardware support (Dell, IBM, Desktops and Laptops) Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite Experience administrating using Active Directory Some exposure to Microsoft Exchange 5.5/2003 Server Administration Please send your CV to (see below).
