IT Support Technician; Financial Services Industry; Excellent Opportunity for Career Development; Milton Based . . My client a forward thinking IT Solution provider that services the financial services industry is looking to employ a dynamic and self starting IT Support Technician. . . This position is the first point of call for level 1 & 2 systems issues. The position requires excellent communication and customer services skills; the ability to analyse and resolve hardware and software problems; escalating high level issues as required; aid the helpdesk in ensuring services level agreements are met and ensuring issues are resolved in SLA business meeting deadlines. Additionally this position will be required to perform hands on desktop support and work with senior team members and administrators to resolve complex problems. . Technical Skills required: . Windows XP/2000 support experience . Demonstratable knowlege of Scripting in any language . Office 2000/2003 support experience . Active directory user administration, security and policies . DHCP, DNS skills . Hardware troubleshooting . Application Support . . Desirable Skills: . Unix/Linux Support . Enterprise back-up experience . Ghost and anti-virus experience . WSUS .
