(IT) Navitaire - Network Engineer

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accenture, Navitaire offers IT Business Process Solutions in the areas of Revenue Management, Protection and Accounting Services, Reservations and Direct Distribution Services for the airline industry. Working in the role of Network Engineer for Navitaire your key responsibilities may include to: Build, configure and maintain Cisco IOS for Cisco Routers; Catalyst Switches; Firewalls; and CSS Load balancers. Build, configure and maintain Operating System for F5 load balancers. Troubleshoot IOS and hardware faults on diverse range of Cisco routing; switching; Firewall; and load balancing hardware. Participate in planning and architecting internetworking environments for internal and external client base. Liaise with Service Account Management team on problem management and resolution. Third level support to mission critical systems and environments. Escalate support to the Navitaire Network Operations Centre monitoring team. Participate in after hours on call roster for emergency support. Document network environments globally. Ideally, you will hold Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in and engineering field (computer science, electronics engineering, etc). You will be able to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Interpersonally, you are results orientated and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
