(IT) Network Monitoring Specialist


Rate: 95k   Location: Sydney, New South Wales   

One of Australia’s leading IT&T companies is currently searching for a Senior Cisco Network Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of their nationwide networks you will also be involved in fault resolution, Cisco routing and switching, security and general networking. To secure this role you should be at a CCNP (minimum) level and have a strong background in: Cisco routing and switching; Network monitoring and maintenance with tools such as HP Openview; Linux and Unix (preferably Solaris); Security and Firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco PIX/ISO etc) VOIP and associated technologies (eg. CallManager, Unity etc); and Customer service and support. In addition to this, any experience with Scripting, Juniper Routers and Nortel switching will be very highly regarded.
