(IT) Helpdesk Support Analyst


Rate: 50k   Location: Sydney   

A Helpdesk Support Analyst with a strong working knowledge of PC, laptop and and printer hardware, operating systems and market data is required to join a top Investment Bank in the city. The successful candidates responsiblities will include: Provide users with a performing and responding first and second level support. Run Run the day to day first level support of Desktops, network and phone connections, supporting the banks standard desktop environment. Ensure Desktop/application synchronisation of DR and Production sites as per the DR guidelines Evaluate hardware + software where required. Set-up New Users and maintain existing user accounts to all identified networks and systems. Provide a source of backup for basic Telecommunication support Support the user base efficiently and propose/manage changes to procedures where necessary. Ensure accurate monitoring and tracking of faults and tasks Ensure regular auditing of Desktop applications and services. Ensure daily operations procedures are completed as required in a manner transparent to the business. Ensure that support and tasks are provided and managed in respect with Infrastructure ITEC standards and strategy Area of coverage: all Australia offices. Desktop and network globalisation of Australia Branch Working on a rotating shift.
