The Test Analyst we require will be focused on test script writing and test execution for the secure documentation and retrieval of secure information. They will assist the senior Test Analyst and release coordinator in the planning and design of testing templates & guidelines, utilising the appropriate methodology for enhancing applications and products. Demonstrated Experience and technical requirements: 2 years commercial experience. Visual Studio Team Testing Experience (necessary) Experience working in a technology services/related environment (eg help desk, operator role) Knowledge/experience with SQL such as Oracle and SQL Server RDBMS will be an advantage Working knowledge of networked desktop hardware and operating system software. Junior Helpdesk/IT Support We are seeking a junior Helpdesk/IT Support Officer looking to get away from the monotony and humdrum of constantly answering the phones and seeking more autonomy and an opportunity to learn further develop their desktop and infrastructure knowledge. Our client is based one the fringe of the Brisbane CBD and they are seeking someone who will be happy to work in a small team environment, has great interpersonal skills and is tech-savvy. As the Infrastructure Manager you will direct, establish, plan and implement the policies and procedures to support the organization’s network and computer infrastructure and support services. Manage the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of Servers, desktop PC, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers. This is a hands-on role, with responsibilities for implementation and support of network hardware and software. Responsible for all IT infrastructure at Company Headquarters and remote facilities. You will also have responsibility for other office locations report to the Director of IT. Skills and Experience: Oversee the daily operations of the help desk and support functions. Define standards and practices to apply to hardware and software purchasing to ensure user performance and budget considerations are met. Report service levels and other key metrics to management. Ensure performance of all network services meet user needs and expectations. Manage all activities related to voice communications for the company. Administration: Oversee all network and computer security related matters to ensure that information is appropriately available and protected. Implement effective support procedures, including escalation procedures and after-hours response. Monitors help desk activities to ensure all requests are assigned and responded to quickly. Communicates status and expectations to users, fellow IT team members and to departmental and company management. Seeks continuous improvement of all Network, PC and Infrastructure services. Hiring, performance appraisal, coaching and discipline of staff. Plans network projects. Creates project plans, work estimates and timelines. Tracks and reports status, progress and issues. Performs and oversees the analysis of network growth projections, performance and future requirements. Oversees the creation and preparation of monthly network and user data for reporting internally and to parent company. Provides input to and participates in annual budget preparation and periodic forecasting. Experience: 7 years or more hands-on experience in a Windows network environment is required.
