(IT) Help Desk Manager
Location: North Ryde
Our client, a blue chip company has an excellent opportunity for suitably experienced Service Desk Manager to join their Sydney based team. In this key role you will manage a small but vital service desk team reporting directly to the National Service Desk Manager. Your main responsibility will be to ensure customers receive a high quality service from the Service Desk teams. This will include: Coordinating day-to-day operational activities Planning resource requirements Meeting SLAs and financial objectives Conduct performance appraisals Mentoring peers and subordinates effectively To be successful in this role you will ideally come from an outsourcing background and have approximately 4 years experience in a team lead or management role. Advanced knowledge and awareness of contact centre telephony and call logging tools is essential. This is a busy customer focused environment; to succeed you will need to have the ability to focus while under pressure and be able to deliver consistently.
