(IT) 12 Month SAN Midrange Storage Specialist - Melbourne


Rate: 78-83/Hour   Location: Melbourne, Victoria   

NAS Midrange Storage Specialist required for Global Tier 1 Consulting firm who offers you the opportunity to enhance and develop your skills within providing storage management services in an Open system environments. Duties and Responsibilities: Escalation to support following defined processes Communicate with various business units and customer Operational/Technical/Internal Helpdesk/support teams and management Enter system commands and perform assigned system requests, create and assign problem records to reflect actions taken Perform specific daily/weekly and Monthly checks and tasks as per the checklists Perform activation of SAN and enterprise storage requests Navigate and utilise network and Workstation utilities Maintain online documentation Execute basic change management activities Technical requirements: Knowledge of SAN hardware management tools (Cisco, EMC, McData, Brocade, HDS, IBM DSxxx) Knowledge of enterprise disk management tools (EMC Symmetrix/DMX, EMC Clariion, EMC ECC, IBM ESS, DS4xxx, DS6/8xxx) Basic Knowledge of Unix, (Sun Solaris, HPUX, AIX, Linux etc) Intel Operating System Basic understanding of Automation tools Basic understanding of Problem Management Reporting tools In return they offer: Flexible work/life balance 12 Month Contract Working within a major client Rates depending on experience $78-$83/Hour For more information regarding this exceptional NAS Midrange Storage Specialist.
