(IT) Assistant Quoter - Order Coordinator


Rate: Commensurate With Experience   Location: Melbourne   

My client, a leading ICT organisation has a position available for an Assistant Quoter - Order Coordinator to joint their busy sales team. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Customer Care team. Your primary responsibilities in this position will include but not be limited to the following: Manage the allocation and completion of product orders and quotations to support delivery of Ipex product to customers on time and in full, in accordance with their service delivery expectations. Allocate order to Order Processors using the Universal Service Desk System Confirm all orders have been shipped on time. Identification and resolution of non-conformance in processes or products. Provide pre-sales support to customers and the sales team. Contribute to the delivery of product solutions to customers in accordance with their requirements to reduce the risk to and optimise the profitability of the business. Contribute to the provision of customer/product reports in accordance with Contractual Reporting requirements. To be successful for this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following: Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of Computer Components Negotiation skills. Understanding of the application of Quality Management System (ISO 9001) for business systems and product compliance. Experience with the application of an ERP System, preferably BAAN, within a Build to Order Manufacturing environment. Experience with an ITIL ERP system, preferably Unicentre Service Desk. High level numeracy, analysis and spreadsheet skills. Project planning and delivery. Experience within a similar role is essential together with knowledge of hardware and software products. You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well with and coordinate a team. Work hours span 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday.
