(IT) Level 1 Helpdesk Engineer
Rate: 35k Location: Sydney, New South Wales
Join this leading Microsoft Certified Partner based in the CBD in providing Level 1 technical support for their exclusive client base. Extensive on-going training will be provided with mentoring available. Convenient CBD location and a challenging working environment where learning and development is encouraged! Duties will include: - Answering client enquiries on technical issues related to software/hardware/peripherals/laptops - Providing technical support with a service focus in a responsive and professional manner - Escalating issues as required to Senior Engineers as appropriate in a timely manner - Troubleshooting Microsoft applications, Windows (all versions), Outlook and other relevant software - Assisting the team in reaching the best possible outcome for the client - Other duties reasonable to the position as directed by the Manager The successful candidate will demonstrate: - Relevant IT qualifications (eg. Diploma) - Strong knowledge in troubleshooting Windows (all versions) and Microsoft applications - Excellent communication skills over the phone and face to face at a business level - Strong command of English business language both written and verbal - Enthusiasm for IT and progressing in the industry - Willingness to learn - Strong team playing skill
