(IT) APPLICATION Support Engineer - Unix - SINGAPORE


Rate: Benefits + Bonus   Location: Singapore   

An International Electronic Trading solutions provider is currently looking to recruit an Application Support Engineer. In this position successful candidates will be: Responsible of the software release Performing System checks Controlling the Real Time monitoring The first level of support, interacting with Clients Participating in Helpdesk activities on rotation basis Performing Troubleshooting and interacting with the development team The point of contact for the testing team during project phase The point of contact for the Technical Account Manager during Production Successful candidates must have proven track record in IT support and be highly experienced in Operating Systems and System Architecture (Solaris, AIX, Unix, NT), have good knowledge of Network architecture (applied or project, CISCO) and a sound history of Troubleshooting. Knowledge of GL Trade is essential to this role. You should be customer focused and have a good knowledge of the stock-market mechanisms (placing orders, life cycle etc)
