(IT) Project Director - Software Vendor - North Sydney - to $170K Package

Major Software Implementations . North Sydney Location . to $170,000 inc 9% Super . Due to continued expansion an outstanding opportunity has arisen within the Project Delivery Office of a global specialist software vendor as a Project Director. Reporting to the Senior Vice President Project Delivery the role holder will take direct accountability for the management and delivery of cross functional, high impact, high risk, high complexity business critical projects as well as advising and mentoring Project Managers across the APAC region. You are expected to directly manage projects in excess of $10m as well as mentor and support a team of up to five Project Managers and take responsibility for a virtual project team in excess of 20 staff. This is a senior delivery focussed role not a Program Manager or a PMO manager role. In order to be successful you will need to demonstrate a range of knowledge, skills and behaviours: Substantial end to end delivery experience with large, complex, cross functional projects particularly with enterprise level ERP or similar applications.Proven track record of leading and the delivery of projects in dynamic fast, paced environments and markets internationally.Extensive experience of managing budgets and revenue streams.Inspirational team leadership including advising and mentoring junior colleagues.Strong project methodology experience and/or certification (PMBoK and/or Prince2).In depth understanding of business dynamics including the impacts and dependencies of project implementation.Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills; internal, external and at board level.Commercially astute with strong influencing, facilitation and broking skills to promote common goals and vision.Strong academic achievements and/or professional recognition.
