(IT) Purchasing Administrator
Location: Melbourne
Our client a major player in the IT services industry are currently on the lookout for an experience Purchasing Administrator to join their team. The purpose of this position is to purchase product, to support the delivery of finished IT products and solutions, on time, to meet client’s specific software technology business requirements. Skills/Experience Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Supply Chain Fundamentals of electronic purchasing. Proficient in purchasing process. Fundamentals of electronic purchasing Proficient in purchasing process. Main Responsibilities: Operating within against agreed Service Levels; Operating within the defined Authorities and Delegations Framework; Contributing to the continuous improvement of the business; Identifying and proposing strategies and actions to reduce the risk to the business; Identification and resolution of non-conformance in processes or products. Assist where required on projects relating to Purchasing Operations, including stock and inventory analysis. Develop close working relationship with Sales and Customer Support Representatives. Proactively communicate with Sales staff and Customer Support Representatives regarding any issues relating to supply of product to the customer or new products Raise, Process and Manage Purchase Orders to ensure availability of product to meet customers requirements. Create, process and place submit purchase orders to vendors within.
