My client, who focuses on delivering world leading service to SME clients is looking to engage a highly motivated field engineer with a thirst for technology and a passion for learning. Responsibilities: Provide 2nd/3rd level desktop Server support for small to medium enterprise clients ranging from 10-250 seats. Design, build and Implement technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, Outlook Web Access Setup maintain backup schedules using Veritas Backup Exec software suite. Install troubleshoot basic networking equipment such Switches, Hubs and ADSL 2 Internet modems. Perform account management duties maintain IT Documentation. Challenging role with exposure to wide range of technologies and IT Systems Essential Skills: Desktop/Server support, SOE build and deploy experience. Windows Server 2003, Exchange, Active Directory administration. Basic network Router configuration (port forwarding and ADSL setup) Medium to Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word Desirable Skills: Solutions consulting for common IT issues within small business environments. Intermediate VPN configuration on Cisco/Juniper equipment. MS Windows 2000/2003 Server build, implement and migration. Exchange AD design and project management. Lotus Notes, VOIP, The ideal candidate will be an advancing junior/intermediate engineer, looking to further develop your technical skills in networking, security, Server design, configuration and implementation.
