They are currently seeking a Desktop Specialist to join their support team. You will define, deliver and support desktop solutions for a key business area. The responsibilities for the roles will include: Testing and implementation of a wide range of applications, operating system and SOE upgrades IT Consultancy on peripherals and new technology Understanding the business processes and priorities Identification and follow through on opportunities for cost reductions through efficiencies and better management of IT resources To be considered for the role you will need: Thorough knowledge of Desktop, LAN, Peripheral device installation and support (ideally including Blackberry) Advanced, solid knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (XP, Office 2003, Active Directory, Exchange) The ability to work as part of a team player The ability to liaise with business as well as technical personnel to produce solutions acceptable to all parties The ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written/verbal A high customer service focus and professional approach To submit your application, in strict confidence, please apply online using the appropriate link below.
