(IT) Senior Project Manager/Portfolio Manager- IT Infrastructure

Rate: $155k-175k   Location: Sydney CBD, New South Wales   

This is a senior role& to oversee/manage and deliver large and complex IT infrastructure projects and portfolios.&You will be responsible for a portfolio of&infrastructure projects,&managing a team of project managers so we require skills and experience in managing multiple projects, multiple project managers and 3rd parties/vendors.&Need to have financial mgt, resource mgt, ability to start up projects, schedule resources. Need strong stakeholder engagement and change management experience/organisational change. Around 10 years experience infrastructure PM plus 3 years experience in Senior PM/management role. Previous operational or support background ie across multiple infrastructure projects – Unix,&telephony, storage, mainframes, networks, servers, data centres, telecoms, SAN, virtualisation, etc. – whole range of infrastructure. You must be able to demonstrate you ability to deliver IT solutions using project management methodologies and processes, follow project integration and scope management, manage resources and budgets, risk, procurement, etc. Above average communication skills and leadership qualities are a must.
