(IT) Helpdesk/Support With A Minumum Of 6 Months IT Industry Experience.

LEVEL 1 SERVICE DESK POSITION. Port Melbourne Location. Permanent Opportunity. $40,000 + Superannuation. Our esteemed client who helps your business to grow by using innovative solutions and services that control every aspect of your document life cycle, are seeking an exceptional candidate to join their IT team as Level 1 & 2 Service Desk Officer. You will need to have at least 6 months experience within the IT industry with an outstanding level of Customer Service experience. This is a fabulous opportunity to work in a dynamic and friendly environment. You will be a self motivating person who will be responsible for managing our client’s systems and network needs. You will be required to work as part of a team as well as independently. To be considered for this role you will have: Excellent Support skills in Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 and XP and ideally SQL, A minimum of 6 months IT Industry experience, Familiarity with Network Hardware and printers. Ideally but not necessarily having an understanding of TCP/IP Networking, Active Directory & MS Exchange. Excellent Communication skills. Relevant IT or related certifications. Network Security Engineer. Permanent Position. South Eastern Suburbs. Our client offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a successful and dynamic team environment. If you have outstanding technical skills and a customer focused approach then this is the job for you! The primary focus of this role is to provide ownership, management and support of the Firewall and network security environment. In order to be successful in this role you would ideally have: Experience in the configuration & maintenance of network/communications infrastructure. Ability to support a variety of products (Nortel & Cisco) and security environments (Cisco PIX and Checkpoint) Experience with Service Management tools - Network Node Manager and HP Open view. Strong skills in Router & Switch Hardware (Nortel & Cisco), Frame Relay, ATM, Protocols (TCP/IP/IPX/IBM), Routing Protocols & Firewalls (Nokia/Checkpoint/PIX). In depth understanding/experience in LAN’s, WAN’s, Load balancing, Firewall administration & intrusion detection.
