(IT) Helpdesk Analyst

Rate: 40k-50k   Location: Sydney, New South Wales

My client is Asia Pacific’s leading media intelligence company. They currently have an opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join a growing team who offer a high level of support to clients throughout Asia Pacific. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and on going support of both hardware and software ranging over multiple technologies. Working in this environment you will be exposed to many new and emerging technologies giving you the opportunity to constantly upgrade your skill set. To be successful we are looking for somebody with a minimum of 1-2 year’s relevant experience in a helpdesk or desktop support position where you would have worked with a number of clients in a fast paced environment. Experience with the following technologies is a must - Windows 2003 Windows XP, Exchange, Active Directory and Citrix. You will also have the following Strong focus on customer service. Strong focus on process, documentation and governance. Server and desktop hardware diagnosis and hands-on experience. Strong problem identification and resolution skills. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously. Good team-working skills. An ITIL or Microsoft qualification would be desirable but is not as important as attitude and hard work.
