Client A well known consultancy firm is seeking a very experienced Quantitative Developer to join their exciting and talented team. Responsibilities This position will focus on developing and maintaining of current and new systems. The majority of the work will be based around C++ development with OO Design and SQL.Server to implement models for financial products. Selection Criteria & Up to 5 years knowledge and commercial experience using C++, OO Design and SQL.Server & Visual Studio C++ & Borland C++ Builder & MS SQL Server, Perl & Understanding of complex financial models and being able to convert them to running programs & Degree in Computer Science, Quantitative, Engineering Maths including Computing Studies & Understanding of financial markets and Risk Management & Experience with Trading systems or Risk Management systems at a bank, insurance company or software vendor & The ability to work independently on set tasks & The ability to provide estimates for work specs and also feedback on progress towards completion & Good written expression to complete documentation associated with their work & Confident personality and able to discuss issues with other developers, sales and support staff My client offers a great working environment with dedicated and professional staff that work on customer based solutions across a range of financial market business areas.
