(IT) Quantitative Developer

Responsibilities This position will focus on developing and maintaining of current and new systems. The majority of the work will be based around C++ development with OO Design and SQL.Server to implement models for financial products. (IT) Senior Financial Developer

Client A Senior Financial Developer is sought by this market leader to provide leadership to a multi disciplinary team, overseeing the planning, design and site architecture management throughout the lifecycle of Summit Systems projects for Treasury and Capital Market in Asia Pacific. Responsibilities Working in Sydney you will be reporting to the Manager of Summit Systems and the Professional Services Director and will be responsible for the following: Deliver IT services and chargeable consultancy to the TCM client base in South Asia Work closely with the Client to establish technology strategy at an application level Deliver innovative IT Architecture design, planning and implementation Help manage a project team from definition phase through implementation Assist in pre sales activities Contribute to development of implementation tools and product materials Support Client relationship building and identifying sales opportunities Selection Criteria 10 years experience in the banking or financial software industry Strong expertise on Summit Systems Exposure on other TCM software like LoanIQ or Opics will be a plus Demonstrated project and business leadership skills Demonstrable record of success in the implementation or replacement of core financial markets trading systems Diploma or degree in IT Computing Programming language/systems criteria C# and .NET, VB, Oracle/Sybase, SQL Data, Access/Data Model knowledge, Web Services/SOA architecture, Summit Data Model, Summit Toolkit/eToolkit API.
