(IT) Desktop Support

Rate: 50k   Location: Melbourne Inner, Victoria   

Contract with view to permanent. This could be an opportunity to get away from your telephone based role and get your hands on opportunity! One of Australia’s leading media planning and buying agencies is looking for a great desktop support person. Based in a very convenient South Melbourne location this is an excellent company to be working with. Initially this role is a six month contract with the view to permanent. Reporting to the Group IT Manager you will be responsible for day to day operations supporting users requests and network hardware and PC’s. This is a great opportunity for the right person. Our client is looking for someone who is either working an existing support role or who for someone who can really cut the mustard and move from a phone based helpdesk to hands on support. To be considered for this role you’ll want: Experience in a desktop support environment and/or a total enthusiasm for the IT industry and a strong desire to move into a support role. Experience with Microsoft Office products An understanding of networks, TCP/IP protocol and tools A great personality! An understanding of current Windows Servers This role is a great step in your career if you’re wanting to move up in the industry.
