(IT) Application Support Specialist


Rate: 50k-60k   Location: Sydney Inner, New South Wales   

Our client, based in Sydney CBD are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to join a rapidly growing team. We are are looking for professionals with the following skills and experience: Previous experience in an application software support role. Solid understanding of general accounting principles. A good understanding of general business operations Experience working in a team environment Excellent verbal communication skills Good knowledge of SQL This is an extremely varied role and includes: Providing telephone support to customers Providing training in the use of our software to customers Assisting with testing of software enhancements and bug fixes Assisting with installation of software updates Assisting with maintaining support calls in our internal help desk system This position also provides opportunities to travel locally, interstate and internationally.
