Radar Systems Engineering Specialist Provide technological and engineering expertise to radar systems Flexible work environment with staff benefits We are seeking the services of an experienced Radar Systems Specialist to embrace this exciting opportunity in the Federal Aviation Sector. This role will primarily be responsible for the coordination and validation of proposed changes and performance of radar systems and the associated support infrastructure within Australian airspace. Technologies and systems used include: RASPP Primary and Secondary Surveillance Radar E-Scan Precision Runway Monitor Surface Movement Radar Position Determination by Multi-lateration This client provides complete airspace and airside services to the Australian Aviation industry covering more than 500 sites and a fixed asset base of over $400 million. Over 40 million passengers benefit each year from the on going efforts of this corporation to maintain the safest skies in the world. The functions of the role will include: Provide engineering assistance to investigate problems and escalate critical issues Produce engineering reports and proposals to determine and recommend changes of radar systems Manage and control the configuration of the radar systems Be capable of assigning and managing the work of others in the team including mentoring Experience of the ATC Surveillance domain is essential for this Senior position. The successful candidate will have Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and demonstrated experience in radar systems engineering.
