(IT) IT Transformation Executive

Location: Sydney   

Leading financial services company. Senior management role. Shaping future direction of IT. Our client is one of Australias leading financial institutions. Following a review of its IT function, our client is looking to transform the way IT is managed and delivered to ensure maximum business value is delivered and is in need of a Senior Executive to define and drive its IT change program. In the scope of this program is: Defining the way IT is governed. The processes and procedures for delivering new technology solutions. The mechanisms for managing demand and supply constraints. The way service delivery and maintenance are managed. The way IT talent is managed and grown. The successful candidate will provide the technology vision and leadership to define and execute this program. They will have the ability to influence senior IT and business stakeholders to craft the future direction of the IT function. The ideal candidate will have a proven background working for a strategic or management consulting firm and delivering solutions to your clients or alternatively will be operating in a client driven management position within the vendor or services community. Your proven experience with dealing with the issues within the scope of this program will be essential to your success as will be your previous experience with ITIL. We are looking for a strong record of success and excellent client relationship skills. Your background and professional references will speak for themselves. Strategically minded and commercially focussed, we seek a confident, extremely well-organised person who can analyse problems, influence outcomes and work effectively in a high pressure environment. Excellent presentation, report and proposal writing, analytical and all round communication skills are essential. A Bachelor Degree is essential and post graduate qualifications will be well regarded as will 10+ years experience in the management, technology or consulting field.
