(IT) Solution Design Consultant - Network Integration & ICT Service Markets

Rate: 9% Super + 20% Bonus + Amazing Benefits!   Location: Sydney, New South Wales

Work for a company that values a flexible work attitude Our client, a leader in its field, currently has a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Solution Design Consultant with extensive experience in the Network Integration ICT Service Markets to join a dynamic and talented team. The successful candidate will provide a high level of technical, engineering and commercial verbal and written advice and expertise to internal workgroups, Sales Teams, vendors and assist Sales to secure new business by designing the ‘best value for money’ solutions. To succeed in this role, you will take ownership of complex design, integration, deployment and ongoing support of consulting and design solutions to large Telco business customers. You will have proven experience in designing solutions that meet strategic business requirements, are ‘provisionable’, ‘billable’ and ’supportable’. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Consulting Engineers, Project Engineers in delivering a solution and Service to the customer. Skills Experience Extensive experience in engineering solution design experience in the Network Integration and ICT Services markets Detailed understanding of the following technology areas: Data NetworksMulti Services IP Converge networks Security Wireless NetworkIP Communications (IP telephony) (VOIP) Vendor experience Cisco, Nortel, Juniper Telco Network and Enterprise Network Technical knowledge of ICT infrastructure comprising of Multiservices Network, wireless, Security, IP telephony and IP QOS Extensive experience in implementing enterprise networks. Your experience and current position dictates you are an industry technical/architectural expert in this area. Provide written responses to customer bid and non-bid sales opportunities. Sound working knowledge of the ICT infrastructure market, related solutions, vendors and experience in an consulting and integration environment Strong engineering/technical experience in Telco networks and third party vendor products and solutions.
