(IT) Network Administrator
Rate: Up To 80k Package Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Melbourne Based. Multinational Company. CBD Fringe. Permanent up to $80k package. Network Administrator. Our client is a prestigious company in the Web services environment. They are seeking a highly experienced Network Administrator. As the Network Administrator you will be confident, eager to learn and have a passion for networking. The role is primarily focused on providing system management and administration support of the production network in a 24×7 environment. This role has accountability for system performance, stability and useability on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate will hail from Production Support environment and will be responsible for maintaining the Network including: Managing system resources. Security. System updates and software upgrades/patches. Performance monitoring and Capacity planning. IP Addressing. Skills (required): At least 5 years experience in managing and maintaining a large, 24×7 Cisco based network. Networking skills (TCP/IP, routing etc). Strong Cisco Skills, BGP, OSPF skills. Strong Cisco ASA Firewall skills. Strong DNS, DHCP skills. Experience with F5 will be highly regarded. CCNA qualification. his is an ideal opportunity to take ownership of the environment and expand your skills in networking. This position will entail international exposure and travel -the ability to travel internationally for a minimum of 6 months will be required. Further training and certifications is provided.
