(IT) Unified Communications Engineer - Voice & Network Solutions

Location: Sydney, New South Wales   

Global Investment Bank Deliver innovative technical solutions Opportunity to deal extensively with a range of technologies technical teams across a global IT organisation; Permanent position. Our client requires a Unified Communications Engineer focused on developing integrated Voice and Network solutions. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Technical Project Management Maintaining and supporting engineering standards Complete and maintain technical systems documentation Undertake technical risk and impact analysis - including security assessment Investigation of future technology trends and pilot new solutions Relationship and stakeholder management - Business and other teams Review business requirements and ensure compliance to technical solutions Ensure compliance with support process and procedures including change, incident and problem management The successful candidate must have the following key attributes and experience: Experience working in other large financial institutions or similar corporate environments Proven project delivery experience using agreed project methodology Ability to manage small-medium sized projects Ability to interface and work closely with other architecture teams Maturity and ability to deal with a broad range of business IT staff around the globe Self Starter and highly motivated individual Excellent written and verbal communication skills Capable to present at all levels including Senior Management Ability to multi task effectively Excellent client service skills Team player able to work well within and external to direct team Strong vendor management experience Ideally you will be qualified to degree level, with Technical experience in the following areas a pre-requisite for the role: Cisco Call Manager CCIE Voice or CCVP certification Voice integration including an understanding of Unified Messaging, Click to Dial and integration to Microsoft applications Strong Networking skills Proven technical design and architecture experience General Microsoft and Desktop skills If you have the required experience, please apply online , or alternatively ; email (see below) or call Jon Hampson on 02 9236 4500 quoting ref JG/4039.
