(IT) Support Analyst/Programmer - ECommerce & Back Office IT Support

Our client requires an E-commerce Support Analyst/Programmer to join this account team, the role provides IT support services to the E-commerce business area. A major component of this role is supporting the E-commerce Back Office IT applications underlying the successful, fast growing platform business. The position will participate in all facets of production support and development, including problem investigation, systems enhancements, bug fixes, incident management, impact assessments and service improvements. In addition to exercising technical skills, the successful candidate will gain and apply knowledge of the business processes involved with administering investment portfolios via the Internet. The position will be responsible for: support of Financial Services E-commerce operations support of Web based applications working on support issues with fellow team members systems maintenance activities establishing strong relationships with the business and other technical stakeholders to discuss systems issues and changes resolving operational issues and implementing preventative measures Technical requirements: Java SQL Sybase or similar RDBMS WebLogic skills or similar application Servers Web based applications Unix (including Shell scripting) Ideally the applicant will have: Proven problem solving skills and customer service focus Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team The flexibility to deal with conflicting and changing priorities, and multi-tasking Experience in Managed Funds and/or equities trading systems Don’t miss out on this opportunity to work with one of the best where your dedication and loyalty are rewarded.
