Java/J2EE Architect Our client is a full service solution provider which operates throughout Australia with over 2500 IT professionals working directly for the company. They have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth. They are looking for a Senior Java/J2EE Architect to join their Melbourne office. Responsibilities: - Analyzes customers’ business requirements and software/product objectives; - Work with clients to design technical architecture solution and document technical requirements - Support technical design and technical build phases. - Serve as a technical advisor and problem solver to clients and partners to assist them in optimizing their use of the software/product to define, build and deploy online applications. - Maintain status reports for project manager and other parties. - Assist with project planning and ongoing issue resolution and risk mitigation. Skills: - Java, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Java Mail, - Spring Framework, Hibernate and Struts - Architecture Framework - WSAD - JMS - Web Services - SOAP, HTML, XML, XSLT - WSDL, BPEL - IBM WebSphere Server.
