They work behind the scenes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to keep Australia’s largest independent electronic payment systems network running effectively. Here is a fantastic opportunity for a responsible, dedicated, support orientated individual to join this extremely successful organisation. You will be responsible for the overall delivery and support of all relevant desktop services. Team duties include Help Desk Support, support of PC Hardware, Software and other peripherals. Also included is the responsibility for the maintenance of documentation and administration of the above areas. Your duties will include: - Perform first level desktop support to users who report issues with their office equipment, including PC, phone, Blackberry and peripherals. - Installing, administering and supporting the company’s PC hardware platform, which consists of Intel based PCs, notebooks and printers. - Installing, configuring and administering and supporting the company’s PC software platform which consists of Windows 2000, XP, MS Office Pro (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Project), Lotus Notes, terminal emulation software as well as many other specialised applications. To be considered for this role you will: - Have a good understanding of the Microsoft Operating Environment - Have exposure to Lotus Notes and Service Centre - Demonstrable skills in troubleshooting. - Be able to prioritise multiple tasks on a daily basis. - Have experience in PC hardware support - Have experience with PC software applications installation - Microsoft applications, Lotus Notes, MS - Have experience with Exchange and Citrix. - Demonstrate excellent documentation skills. - Be extremely customer focused - Have superb communication skills The right candidate will also be a team player and will take ownership and responsibility for their own work.
