(IT) Network Support Engineer


Location: Melbourne East, Victoria   

3 Month contract Eastern Suburbs Our client, a Global and well known organization is currently looking for a Network Support Engineer for a 3 month contract to assist with the day to day network environment. In this role you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of Cisco products in an enterprise environment. Responsibilities; You will be supporting a large enterprise Cisco environment. There will not be any architecture or design work involved but you will be responsible for the performance of an enterprise environment (working within the team). In this role you will be liaising and supporting internal clients nation wide and around Asia Pacific. You must ensure all technical documentation is kept up to date and accurate. Essential skills; Experience supporting Cisco Routing/Switching. Strong knowledge of Data, Voice and Mobile technologies within a Cisco environment. 5+ years experience as a Network Engineer. Vendor certifications. Strong understanding of Network and Internet Securities including Firewall and VPN technologies. Experience working in a large corporate environment. Excellent communication skills. In depth troubleshooting experience. Strong break fix knowledge. Ability to investigate errors and resolve/find solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience supporting a large network environment. This role is based in the Eastern suburbs and perfect for someone to work close to home.
