(IT) Cisco Network Engineer - Sydney

Cisco Network Engineer - Sydney - up to $100k Expanding Communications Company Cisco focused Network Support Engineer. Permanent Role. A diligent, motivated and technically strong Cisco Network Support Engineer is required for this growing Communications Company. Responsibilities: Investigate network problems and ensure effective problem resolution. Undertake prompt execution of escalation procedures to ensure the correct level of technical and management awareness. Register and implement network additions/moves/changes as directed. Providing technical support from a remote location either by telephone or email. Resolving client problems and queries in an effective and timely manner - updating clients on progress during problem resolution. Knowledge and Experience: Typically secondary/high school qualified with a relevant technical qualification and at least 3 years relevant work experience. Experience of working with data communications and network management tool sets essential. CCNA accreditation or relevant industry experience is essential. Nortel, HP Openview and Concord Health experience preferred but not essential. IPTEL experience in a Cisco environment desirable.
