VB.Net Developer – Integral role within key projects Sydney CBD location Excellent Salary – to $140k package + bonus Our client, a large bluechip financial organisation is now actively seeking to appoint an experienced Applications Developer. Working in the heart of the Sydney CBD, the successful applicant will play an integral role in a small and close knit team of professionals. Job purpose You will work within the Treasuary division of the organisation where there will be a focus on the development and enhancement of several third party Fund management systems as well as developing and enhancing middleware, reporting and analytical systems developed in-house ( VB.net/MS SQL ). The role demands excellent analytical and programming skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to take the initiative in resolving issues and delivering solutions independently. The major reponsibilities fall into System Development, System Support and Consultancy Services. You will be responsible for preparing functional and technical specs for development and liaising with the business stakeholders and program office where required, as well as developing and executing software testing processes. To be considered for this position you will need to have experience in Visual Basic.net and MS SQL, and/or Oracle 9 or 10 Also Relevant IT Degree Knowledge of Application functional and technical design Analytical/Problem solving skills Excellent communication skills An Exexcutive role with a
