(IT) AIX Administrator


Location: Melbourne   

Our client one of the largest system integrators in Australia is working with a government department in providing strong technical support and maintenance to the existing AIX environment. Your role will be to: Maintain the three Minerva development environments, Install and maintain AIX Servers for the development. Environment (including abend recovery, disk allocation, security (user groups, users), directory structure, disk usage and size increase). Develop and maintain AIX Server backup to Wintel or tape device. Install and maintain DB2 development environment, including full DBA service, permissions, tablespace management, data refreshes. Install, configure, secure and maintain all development environment hardware. Provide general System Administrator advice to senior staff.
