(IT) Cisco Network Designer

About our Client: This well known Australian corporate is looking to employ an experienced Cisco Network Designer. Job Description: As a key member of the Network Design Team, your role will be to provide detailed designs of their data networks to ensure that a consistent, stable and secure infrastructure is in place to support telecommunications requirements. This will involve defining and reviewing high-level designs to ensure they are capable of transitioning to the Detailed Design phase. The Successful Applicant: The successful candidate must understand current network design standards and network environments, as well as have an appreciation of the ramifications of new telecommunications features, products and technologies. Minimum Cisco networking qualifications in either CCNP or CCDA will also be required, as will a strong understanding of ATM, Frame-relay, MPLS, XDSL, DDN, and voice and converged networks. A detailed knowledge of IP/WAN/LAN telecommunications design related to Switches and Routers will also be required. What’s on Offer: Attractive salary, career progression
