(IT) Transition Manager


Rate: Commensurate With Experience   Location: Sydney   

We are seeking the services of a suitably experienced IT Transition Manager to work with a State Government-owned corporation, which owns, operates, maintains and develops New South Wales $3.7 billion high voltage transmission network. The major requirement will be to work collaboratively across a number of departments to ensure that IT solutions are efficiently and effectively transitioned from project/development to operational production support within timeframe and in a risk adverse manner. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Extensive experience in transitioning IT projects to operational production support. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a non-adversarial manner to facilitate a risk adverse and on time transition of IT projects to operational production support. Experience across a broad range of IT functions (ie applications, infrastructure and communications) and specifically with ERP solutions such as Mincom Ellipse and Oracle E-business Suite. Analytical and problem solving skills to assist with the proactive identification and resolution of issues. Understanding of IT Service Delivery and Project Management processes, preferably the ITIL framework and Prince 2. Excellent time management, prioritisation, conflict negotiation and resolution skills. Motivated, resilient and practical. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
