(IT) Comms/Network Engineer - Cisco Exp


A new opportunity exists for a self motivated Comms Engineer with Cisco experience - 3 months possiblity of an extension We are seeking a Communications Engineer (Network) with at least 5 years communications industry experience to join our team. To be successful in this technical role you must have CCNP or CCDP certifications, knowledge and experience with LAN, WAN, and network operations projects. Demonstrated experience with Cisco security, Routers and Switches. IP Telephony, voicemail, messaging including configuration and implementation of specialised infrastructure projects will be highly regarded. You will need to have strong customer service, business acumen, time management and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Position Summary : This position is responsible for providing networking skills to our customers in a timely and professional manner meeting both customer satisfaction and delivery requirements (time, budget and QA). Key Responsibilities: Provide networking and presales skills to our clients. Write client scope/tender responses to SLA’s that are technically correct and that address the requirements. Provide network skills for our clients via service calls/projects Provide network strategy and input to product selection Other Functions Responsibilities: Provide input to templates and procedures Provide guidance in selecting various communications products and services.
