(IT) IT Analyst

“My client is currently looking for an experienced IT Analyst with strong analytical skills within Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, PO, FA) and a strong technical and broader Finance functional background. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem solving skills, experience writing requirements, use cases, functional design, test support and solution analysis, business process knowledge and a very solid understanding of Unix and PL/SQL ” Role Responsibilities: Strong communication skills to build client relations (eg manage stakeholders, establish productive and reciprocal relationships), client and team communications (facilitate meetings and information sharing), educate clients and ensure compliance (PLC and best practices). Manage cases (application and service support, issue resolution). QA Testing (validate and audit design, ensure products meet requirements). Translate objectives to strategies (create scenarios/solutions, provide expert advice and contribute to portfolio alignment). Manage the Project Life Cycle (PLC) by providing investment data, gathering info and analysing needs. Very Strong client/Customer engagement and Partnering with the business. Responsible for meeting documentation (action/to-do lists, meeting agendas and meeting minutes). Project Life Cycle (PLC) documentation (use-cases, business cases, conceptual design docs, IT value cases, risk analysis, stakeholder analysis, test plans and testing results).
