(IT) Problem Analyst

They are currently seeking a Problem Analyst to join their team. As a Problem Analyst you will be responsible for Managing the Problem Management Service Delivery to the Customer at a high level of professional services and support the 2nd and 3rd level Engineers within the Operational Support Groups with 1st level investigations of Problem Cases in root cause analysis. Main Responsibilities : Identifying Problems Investigate Problems according to impact through resolution or error identification Monitoring progress on the resolution of Known Errors Advising Incident Management staff on the best available workarounds for Incidents related to unresolved Problems/Known Errors Assisting with the handling of major Incidents and identifying the root causes Identifying trends and the potential Problem sources Preventing the replication of Problems across multiple systems Ensuring all solutions are reviewed, authorised and updated on the problem management system The successful candidate will demonstrate skills and experience in the following: Minimum 2 years experience in IT Service/Support Management Tertiary Qualifications ITIL Foundations Certification or have worked within an ITIL Framework Demonstrate an analytical problem solving approach Demonstrate good reporting skills
