(IT) IT Manager/Coordinator (Qlds)

EXCLUSIVE ROLE LEADING PROVIDER BRISBANE BASED - BEAUTIFUL ONE DAY, PERFECT THE NEXT! Opportunity for an IT Coordinator/Manager has arisen due to recent retirement. My client is a market leader in its field and is Queensland’s largest provider in their niche industry. Reporting to the General Manager of this particular business unit you will ensure that IT systems used are delivered and supported cost effectively and at the level of security and quality required for that business to achieve its strategic and operational outcomes, within the policy and governance framework set by the company. The major challenges of this role include gaining the confidence of key stakeholders internally and externally, developing and maintaining effective working relationships and Service Level Agreements with key vendors, maintaining the structure of the business unit’s IT team to suit the current mix of systems and wider company environment, leading the executive team in the transition to a more disciplined approach to system implementation and management. Whilst this role has a strong focus on someone who can interact and relate well with the business, we are also targeting someone who can combine this with their hands on technical knowledge. Key Accountabilities include : Managing IT expenditure Ensure availability of key IT systems Deliver IT Services to the business unit at the agreed level of quality Delivery of IT based initiatives Development of IT Staff Requirements : Demonstrable
