About our client: a market leading organisation with a huge emphasis and reliance on IT. Job description: working as a Software Developer with the development group, you will play a key role in developing Web based solutions. You will be responsible for delivering high quality .NET software components. Project deliverables include the development of software solutions, support issues, defect fixing, technical prototyping, component design and development, system integration and strategic directions. Gain thorough understanding of the business requirements and specification relating to the projects. Participate in short iteration feature design and development sessions. Participate in design and code reviews. The successful applicant: software development experience. Tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology or extensive related experience. Experience in developing E-commerce and Web based solutions. In depth knowledge of and proven track record in C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2000 or 2005. Have a solid understanding of end to end developmental life cycle issues. Experience in developing SOA desired as well as exposure or understanding of Agile. Excellent communication skills. An ability to be pro-active in problem solving. Strong team player. Ability to work under pressure and deal with a large workload efficiently. Willing to share knowledge. Organised.
