(IT) Finance Manager

A global IT consulting and solutions organisation is about start a highly publicised Federal government project and requires a Finance Manager to play a critical role in ensuring that the financial and commercial objectives of the client program are achieved through managing the financial budgeting, forecasting, analysis and profit and loss reporting functions. The role will also provide the critical interface with our client around contract management and the financial processes support delivery of the contract, including billing. Qualifications Required: Essential: Professional accounting qualification Minimum five years experience in commercial financial management Experience in Project Controlling - Finance Project Management An ability to understand the contract from a Financial Perspective Analyse and specify costing and revenue Experience in Government IT projects, especially with US IT Multinational Outsourcing Firms. Superior personal, written and oral presentation skills This is a truly end-to-end finance management role that requires a mature balance between hands-on focus and an ability to operate successfully in a complex multi-national organisation.
