(IT) Business Services Analyst: Release Management Co-ordinator

International IT Services company. Burwood location. About the role; You will be responsible for the delivery of standardised regional best practices supporting the Release Management Process for a major client. You will co-ordinate and support day to day release management activities including process compliance adherence and release mgt documentation. This role will interact closely with the other ITIL disciplines, key stakeholders, senior management and client representatives. You will also be responsible for mentoring and providing guidance and workload to junior Release Mgt administrator. Responsibilities; Facilitation of Release Mgt meetings Review and approve Release Mgt records to ensure compliance Review and maintenance of process documentation including Workgroup Handbooks Liaising with key stakeholders and escalating when appropriate Represent Release Mgt end to end at appropriate meetings. eg Production Handover Process meetings. Consistent focus on process improvements Mentoring and training others Provide consultation for general Release Mgt enquiries Essential Selection Criteria; Demonstrated skills in the following products: ITIL Foundations Certificate Service Centre (Digital Workflow) Microsoft Outlook/Excel spreadsheets/Word Experience in operations environment including understanding of Problem and Release Mgt bull; Sound communication skills.
